FoaMasters International Limited has a rich and enduring history in the foam production industry, with origins dating back to 1964. It was during this year that the group's visionary founder, Cheong Fok Kok, along with his family, established the Southeast Asia Latex Products factory in Macau SAR. This venture marked the inception of their journey into the production of latex products, setting the foundation for what would become a thriving enterprise.
In 1974, recognizing the evolving market demands and opportunities, the group strategically shifted its focus to the production of polyurethane foam. This pivotal decision led to the expansion of their operations, with the establishment of branches in Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Hubei provinces of China, as well as in Vietnam, Indonesia, and several other locations. This expansion not only increased their production capacity but also solidified their presence in the Asian market.
In recent years, under the dynamic leadership of the group's two co-CEOs, FoaMasters has been proactive in pursuing continuous development and innovation. Beyond the core focus on foam production, the group has successfully diversified into the finished product markets, specifically targeting mattresses and sofas. This strategic diversification has allowed the group to tap into new consumer markets and broaden its product offerings.
Currently, FoaMasters operates an impressive network of seven foam factories, two sofa factories, and one mattress factory. This extensive infrastructure supports an annual foam production capacity exceeding 60,000 tons, reflecting the group's robust manufacturing capabilities. The group's annual output value approaches a remarkable 2 billion yuan, underscoring its significant contribution to the industry.
The variety of foam produced by FoaMasters is extensive and includes conventional foam as well as specialized types such as flame-retardant, shock-absorbing, anti-static, anti-yellowing, high-resilience, slow-rebound, PU mesh, and PU mold-formed foams. These products are integral to a wide range of industries, including furniture, automotive, clothing, bedding, toys, gloves, helmets, safety apparel, and strollers. This diverse application demonstrates the versatility and adaptability of FoaMasters' products.
To ensure the highest quality standards, FoaMasters sources high-quality raw materials from world-renowned chemical manufacturers, including BASF, Shell, Covestro, Dow Chemical, and Wanhua Chemical. Moreover, their finished products, particularly mattresses and sofas, are exported and sold across Asia, Europe, and the United States, highlighting the global appeal of their offerings.
